Good morning and Happy Hump Day!
I hope everyone is having a great week so far and also a good start to the morning. The weekend is near so keep that as motivation pushing forward 😊.
Today’s Wellness Wednesday will be stemming off of a monthly suggestion quote I found a little while back that I think can have a great impact on our lives.
With it still being fresh into May I wanted to share this to inspire everyone to incorporate a few of these, if not all of them into the month of May and see if they feel any different afterwards.
The quote lists 9 things to schedule in each month:
- 1 lunch date with a friend
- 24hours no social media
- 1 day outside
- 1 night out with friends
- 1 date night
- 1 breakfast meetup with friends
- 1 movie night
- 1 day serving others
- 1 day completely to yourself
I personally plan on incorporating all of these in the month of May and the months to follow because I truly believe that they can have such a great impact on your quality of life. It’s so easy to get wrapped into work and other responsibilities that we have that we rarely take time for ourselves to recharge and help us to grow and connect with people with love. Life is way too short and we should enjoy every second we have and enjoy it with the ones who are still here with us.
The first one I plan to do is no social media for 24hours. I don’t use it a lot as it is, but I definitely use it daily. I think it would be refreshing to go a day without it and see how I feel at the end. Social media is great and I’m definitely an advocate for it when it’s used for positive things but I think we all should learn how to “unplug” every once in a while.
