I hope everyone has had a great start to their week so far and I hope that this morning’s post will make it even better.
Today I wanted to talk about seeking the good in each day.
We all have our bad days and will have plenty of bad days in our lifetime just because we’re human and it’s inevitable. Some days feel like everything that could’ve gone wrong, went wrong and now you’re overwhelmed with the feeling of “what’s next?” or “it’s always something”. Those negative thoughts can have a long and lasting impact on you and for many days to come. Maybe even weeks, months, or years.
It’s hard to think of the good things in the moment but try self reflecting on the ENTIRE day, when you have a few minutes of quite time to yourself. Not just the bad parts of the day, the entire day. Even parts of the day where you’re on autopilot while you brush your teeth and get dressed for the day. Every day has a good moment to it. Whether it’s seeing your kids before you leave for work, or seeing a puppy face outside of the window of the car beside you. It could even be as simple as looking at the lock screen on your phone. Most of us personalize that part of our lives to gives us happiness when we look at our phone.
Whatever the case may be, find your peace of happiness in each and every single day. I’m not saying bypass the bad parts. You need time to reflect and process those parts too but incorporating the good parts will make the entire process a little bit easier.
