Good Morning! Happy Friday Jr.!
I just wanted to speak about something that has been on my mind for the past month or so dealing with work life. The majority of us have to work in order to buy essential things for life but how many of us are actually working at an establish that we actually enjoy? Or at the very least a job that doesn’t make us cringe at the sound of it? I’ve witnessed the effects of that jobs can have on people in a way that completely sucks the joy and good energy from a person. I’ve even seen it lead to anxiety and depression. I’ve experienced it myself and felt a job literally take every joyous thing going on in my life and turned it into shambles.
I know that everyone may not have the means to make a living off of their true passions but I think it’s very important and strongly encourage everyone to take time every day to enjoy those passions either before or after work so that work doesn’t completely consume you. Leave whatever is going on at work out of your personal life. I know that it’s easier said than done, but at least try. Really evaluate how your job makes you feel and then makes small changes to help yourself get a peace of happiness EVERY day to keep you thriving and afloat. Surround yourself with people who make you feel invincible and safe as much as you possibly can. Re-connect with friends you haven’t spoken to in a while. Put yourself first.
Just my little tid-bit for today.
I’d love to hear what your true passions are!
Until next time,
Be happy and smile (:
