Simple Beginnings

Good Morning, everyone! I hope you all have wonderful plans for this lovely Saturday and get out to enjoy the weather. Just wanted to share a simple breakfast that can be great at waking you up and giving your body the fuel that it needs. It’s very simple and will only take 10 mins. At the most.

It consists of:

1 egg cooked to your preference

1 honey wheat bagel thin

a little bit of butter

100% natural grape jam (or your flavor of choice)

a side of fruit (I chose peaches)

This simple but rewarding breakfast gives you protein, whole grains, a serving of fruits, and natural energy that won’t spike your blood sugar like a breakfast sandwich from McDonald’s would. It’s great for those days when everything is being rushed and you need to something to take out the door with you. It would also make a great sandwich!
